Catch-22 (Not Rated)- Catch-22 follows the adventures and misadventures of a US air
squadron in Italy in World War II.
Dora
and the Lost City of Gold (Rated PG)- When
her parents mysteriously disappear while searching for the Lost City of Gold,
Dora must swing into action and lead a group of ill-equipped high schoolers on
a quest to save them.
The
Farewell (Rated PG)- After
hearing that her family's belived matriarch has been given a few weeks to live,
a Chinese-born, U.S.-raised woman returns to China.
Hobbs
and Shaw (Rated PG-13)- When a cyber-enhanced super soldier sets out to steal a
genetically altered virus that could destroy humanity, law man Luke Hobbs and
outcast assassin Deckard Shaw learn they must work together to save Shaw's
sister and stop the virus from spreading.
The
Kitchen (Rated R)- Based on the Vertigo comic book series from DC Entertainment,
the mobster husbands of three 1978 Hell's Kitchen housewives are sent to prison
by the FBI. Left with little but an ax to grind, the ladies take the Irish
mafia's matters into their own hands, proving surprisingly adept at everything
from running the rackets to taking out the competition, literally.
Ophelia (Rated PG-13)- The
unspoken, complex heroine of Hamlet shares her own story through modern
language in contemporary Denmark. As a rebellious and motherless child, Ophelia
is taken into Elsinore Castle by Queen Gertrude as one of her most trusted
ladies-in-waiting. Soon enough, Ophelia captures the affections of the young
Prince Hamlet. A passionate romance kindles between the two in secret as the
kingdom is on the brink of war amidst its own political intrigue and betrayal.
When Hamlet's father is murdered and the prince's wits begin to unravel into an
insatiable quest for vengeance, Ophelia sharply navigates the rules of power in
Denmark all while struggling to choose between her true love and her own life.
Rocky
Mountain Christmas (Not Rated)- Sarah
Davis heads to her uncle's struggling ranch to escape New York and the
spotlight from a recent breakup. Returning home for the first time since her
aunt passed, complications arise when Graham, an entitled Hollywood star,
arrives at the ranch to prepare for his next film. As Sarah and Graham start to
bond, Sarah may get more for Christmas than she bargained for.
TELEVISION SHOWS
The
Big Bang Theory Season 12 (Not Rated)- Despite
their on-again, off-again relationship in the past, Leonard and Penny have
finally gotten married. Even Sheldon has found a companion, marrying
neurobiologist Amy Farrah Fowler after a long courtship. Meanwhile, Howard and
Bernadette explore being married with two kids and Raj considers a traditional
arranged marriage.
Good
Omens Season 1 (Not Rated)- In
the beginning and eleven years ago, two immortal beings decide that it might
not be time to start an Apocalypse. Having followed the wrong boy for years,
Aziraphale and Crowley must now try to locate the whereabouts of the real
Antichrist. Perhaps the story of Agnes Nutter and her famous prophecies will
hold the answer?
Handmaid's
Tale Season 3 (Not Rated)- This
season there are startling reunions, betrayals, and a journey to the terrifying
heart of Gilead that will force all of the characters to take a stand, guided
by one defiant prayer: "Blessed be the fight."
Poldark
Season 5 (Not Rated)- Ross
Poldark resolves to put Westminster behind him and spend more time with the
people he loves, but when an old friend emerges with a plea for help, Ross is
compelled to challenge the establishment again.
Star
Trek: Discovery Season 2 (Not Rated)- After
answering a distress signal from the U.S.S. Enterprise, the U.S.S. Discovery
welcomes aboard Captain Christopher Pike and begins a new mission to
investigate the meaning behind seven mysterious red signals. Michael Burnham
must also grapple with her past growing up on Vulcan with her foster parents
and her brother Spock.
