NEW DVD TITLES FOR MARCH

20th Century Women (Rated R): Three women explore love and freedom in Santa Barbara during the late 1970s.

Assassin's Creed (Rated PG-13): Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch discovers he is a descendant of an ancient line of Assassins.

Collateral Beauty (Rated PG-13): When a successful New York ad executive suffers a personal tragedy and retreats from life, his friends devise a drastic plan to reach him before he loses everything. The story explores how even the deepest loss can reveal moments of beauty, and the how the constants of love, time, and death interlock in a life fully lived.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (Rated PG-13): The adventures of writer Newt Scamander in New York's secret community of witches and wizards seventy years before Harry Potter reads his book in school.

Fences (Rated PG-13): In 1950s Pittsburgh, a Black garbage collector names Troy Maxson, bitter that baseball's color barrier was only broken after his own heyday in the Negro Leagues, is prone to taking out his hurt and frustrations on his loved ones.

Jackie (Rated R): A searing and intimate portrait of one of the  most important and tragic moments in American history, seen through the eyes of the iconic First Lady, then Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy. The film places us in her world during the days immediately following her husband's assassination. Known for her extraordinary dignity and poise, here we see a psychological portrait of the First Lady as she struggles to maintain her husband's legacy and the world of a "Camelot" that they created and loved so well.

Live By Night (Rated R): Self-proclaimed anti-establishment outlaw Joe Coughlin has a sense of justice and an open heart, nothing like the gangsters he refuses to work for. Driven to right the wrongs committed against him, he heads down a risky path. Joe and his reckless crew leave Boston for Tampa, and while revenge is sweeter than the molasses in the illegal rum he runs, he learns that it comes at a price.

Miss Sloane (Rated R): In the world of political power brokers, Elizabeth Sloane takes on the most powerful opponent of her career and will do whatever is required to win.

Moana (Rated PG): A mythical adventure set around 2,000 years ago across a series of islands in the South Pacific. The film follows the journey of a spirited teenager named Moana as she meets the once-mighty demi-god Maui, and together they traverse the open ocean, encountering enormous fiery creatures and impossible odds.

A Monster Calls (Rated PG-13): Twelve-year-old Conor, dealing with his mother's illness, a less-than-sympathetic grandmother, and bullying classmates, finds a most unlikely ally when a monster appears at his bedroom window. Ancient, wild, and relentless, the monster guides Conor on a journey of courage, faith, and truth.

Passengers (Rated PG-13): A spacecraft traveling to a distant colony planet and transporting thousands of people has a malfunction in its' sleep chambers. As a result, two passengers are awakened 90 years early.

Patriots' Day (Rated R): The story of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing and its' aftermath.

Silence (Rated R): Two Catholic missionaries face the ultimate test of faith when they travel to Japan looking for their missing mentor, at a time when Catholicism was outlawed.

Sing (Rated PG): A koala impresario stages a grand singing competition for the world's animals in order to save his elegant theater and bring it back to its' former glory.

Why Him? (Rated R): A holiday gathering threatens to go off the rails when a father realizes that his daughter's eccentric Silicon Valley billionaire boyfriend is about to pop the question.

NEW DVD TITLES FOR FEBRUARY

Allied (Rated R): A Canadian intelligence officer in North Africa during World War II encounters a female French Resistance fighter on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. When they reunite in London, their relationship is tested by the pressures of war.

Almost Christmas (Rated PG-13): A dysfunctional family gathers together for their first Christmas since their mom died.

Arrival (Rated PG-13): When mysterious spacecraft touch down around the world, a team - including linguist Louise Banks - is brought together to investigate. As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and the team race against time for answers, and to find them she will take a chance that could threaten her life --and quite possibly humanity.

Bad Santa 2 (Rated R): Fueled by cheap whiskey, greed, and hatred, Willie teams up once again with his angry sidekick, Marcus, to knock off a Chicago charity on Christmas Eve. Along for the ride is 'the kid', chubby and cheery Thurman Merman, a 250-pound ray of sunshine. Mommy issues arise when the pair are joined by Willie's horror story of a mother, Sunny Soke. Sunny raises the bar for the gang's ambitions, while somehow lowering the standards of criminal behavior.

Doctor Strange (Rated PG-13): A former neurosurgeon embarks on a journey of hearing only to be drawn into the world of the mystic arts.

Eagle Huntress (Rated G): Follows Aisholpan, a 13-year-old girl, as she trains to become the first female in twelve generations of her Kazakh family to become an eagle hunter, and rises to the pinnacle of a tradition that has been typically handed down from father to son for centuries.

The Edge of Seventeen (Rated R): High-school life gets even more unbearable for Nadine when her best friend, Krista, starts dating her older brother.

Hacksaw Ridge (Rated R): WWII American Army Medic Desmond T. Doss, who served during the Battle of Okinawa, refuses to kill people, and becomes the first man in American history to receive the Medal of Honor without firing a shot.

Loving (Rated PG-13): The story of Richard and Mildred Loving, an interracial couple, whose challenge of their anti-miscegenation arrest for their marriage in Virginia led to a legal battle that would end at the US Supreme Court.

Manchester by the Sea (Rated R): An uncle is forced to take care of his teenage nephew after the boy's father dies.

Nocturnal Animals (Rated R): An art gallery owner is haunted by her ex-husband's novel, a violent thriller she interprets as a veiled threat and a symbolic revenge tale.

PBS Alzheimer's Every Minute Counts (Rated TV-PG): An urgent wake-up call about the national threat posed by Alzheimer's Disease.
